Sacramento County Conflict Criminal Defenders Office (CCD) provides legal representation to those charged with criminal conduct who are financially unable to retain counsel. The Sacramento Superior Court appoints Conflict Criminal Defenders when the Public Defender cannot provide representation because of a conflict of interest or insufficient staff.

Conflict Criminal Defenders provide​ representation to our clients by assigning private attorneys. Many of whom have experience as former Assistant Public Defenders or Deputy District Attorneys.

The principal objective of Conflict Criminal Defenders is to provide zealous and effective representation in a cost-effective manner.​

Re-Entry Support Team

CCD R.E.S.T, our Re-Entry Support Team, can assist attorneys and their clients navigate the mental health and collaborative court processes.  You can email R.E.S.T at ​Rest.CCD@gmail.com​​ for additional information​.

Office Hours & Building Access

The CCD office will be open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, excluding major holidays. The Court Plaza Building in which CCD office is located is a secure building, please use the call box on the front door to contact staff to gain acces.
